OUR PREDICTIONS | MORIS POLL PULSE

We Publish Before the Vote. We Compare After the Count.

Every Prediction Has a Date. Every Result Has a Record.

An election prediction matters most when people can examine what was forecast before voting and compare it with what actually happened.

Since 2024, Moris Poll Pulse has developed political research covering parliamentary elections, state assemblies, presidential contests and international elections.

Our prediction archive brings together published opinion polls, voter research, projected vote shares, seat estimates, election dates and post-election comparisons.

Explore what we predicted, when we published it and how the final results compared.

A Forecast Should Remain Open to Examination.

Predictions Are Published. Accuracy Is Measured.

Political preferences can change throughout an election campaign. Public concerns, leadership perceptions, party alliances, local developments and voter participation can all influence electoral outcomes.

Moris Poll Pulse studies these factors through election-related surveys, public opinion research and analysis of relevant political information.

Where the available research supports an estimate, we publish projections of voting preferences, party performance, parliamentary seats or electoral outcomes.

Each prediction should identify its original publication date and the research period on which it was based.

After the election, the forecast can be compared with official results.

A prediction that differs from the final outcome remains part of the archive, just as an accurate prediction does.

Our purpose is to make election research measurable, accessible and accountable.

The Record Matters More Than the Claim.

Original Dates. Visible Corrections. Measurable Differences.

Moris Poll Pulse aims to preserve the original publication record of its election predictions.

When new information becomes available, subsequent research updates should be published as separate dated versions.

The original forecast should remain accessible.

After official results are declared, comparisons should use the original published figures rather than replacing them with the final outcome.

Where corrections are necessary, they should be identified with the correction date and explanation.

This allows readers to distinguish the original prediction, later research updates and the completed election result.

Understanding Our Election Predictions

What is an election prediction?

An election prediction is an estimate of a possible electoral outcome based on available research, polling data and stated assumptions. It is not an official result.

What is the difference between an opinion poll and an exit poll?

An opinion poll measures preferences before voting. An exit poll collects responses from people who have already voted, usually immediately after they cast their ballots.

When does Moris Poll Pulse publish predictions?

Publication timing depends on the election, research schedule and applicable local rules. Each forecast displays its original publication date.

Are all predictions guaranteed to be accurate?

No. Elections involve uncertainty, and voter preferences or turnout can change. Published forecasts should be assessed against their methodology and subsequent results.

Can I view predictions from previous years?

Yes. The archive preserves published election research from 2024 onwards, with older records added only when the original publication evidence is available.

How is prediction accuracy measured?

Accuracy depends on the measure being compared. Seat projections, vote-share estimates, turnout predictions and leading-party forecasts require different evaluation methods.

Every Prediction Deserves a Second Look.
